Moderation Psychology II

Participation Prerequisites

No course prerequisites required for participation

Course Content

One of the key tasks of business psychologists is to teach, train, and communicate psychological knowledge to people in organizations in order for them to feel and perform better at work. In this course, students will experience a “train the trainer” situation in which they will teach psychological knowledge and skills to first-year Bachelor students. These sessions in turn should enable the first-year students to implement psychological principles in their daily working life. Specifically, students of this module will practically conduct interactive lectures with the goal of providing other students not only with theoretical insights into a variety of psychological topics but also enable them to apply this newly acquired knowledge in practice right away. Thus, students in this module will not only have to apply and deepen the knowledge and competencies they gained in “Introduction to Business Psychology” but will also have to implement knowledge and skills acquired in “Business Psychology I” for conducting a lecture/training session themselves. Moreover, an essential part of this course is self-reflection, specifically the critical evaluation of one’s own development as a trainer.
